Installation
Should I use thread locker?
Yes — apply Blue Loctite (medium strength) to the threads before installation. This prevents fasteners from backing out due to vibration without making removal difficult.
What are the torque specs?
Torque specs vary by bolt size: - M6: 12–14 ft-lb - M7: 18–22 ft-lb - M8: 18–22 ft-lb Always torque in a star pattern and re-check after the first drive.
What sealant do I use for the rim halves?
Use GE Silicone 2 (metal formula) to seal between the two rim halves. Apply a thin, even bead and allow it to cure before mounting the tire.

Disassembly & Reassembly
How do I disassemble three-piece wheels?
1. Remove the tire from the wheel 2. Clean the outside of the wheel to remove dirt before opening it up 3. Remove all bolts using the appropriate socket (M6, M7, or M8) 4. Carefully separate the barrel halves from the center 5. Clean off all old sealant from the mating surfaces using a plastic scraper — avoid scratching the metal 6. Inspect all hardware — replace any bolts that are stripped, corroded, or damaged
How do I reassemble three-piece wheels?
1. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly — no old sealant, dirt, or debris 2. Apply blue painter's tape along both sides of the barrel lip to keep the silicone bead clean and contained 3. Apply a thin, even bead of GE Silicone 2 (metal formula) around the barrel lip, then remove the tape before it cures for a clean edge 4. Apply Blue Loctite (medium strength) to the threads of each bolt 5. Hand-thread all bolts before torquing any 6. Torque in a star pattern: - M6: 12–14 ft-lb - M7: 18–22 ft-lb - M8: 18–22 ft-lb 7. Allow sealant to cure 24 hours before mounting tires
